8TV launched in January 2004 and has since grown to the number three position in the highly competitive Malaysian television market.

N-Visio 's Malaysian subsidiary was selected to provide a turnkey interactive solution including Interactive Television formats, provision of campaign creatives and campaign management, SMS gateway connectivity as well as mobile content aggregation.

These interactive solutions have played a significant role in 8TV's growth in the market, particularly within the 15-to-25-year-old demographic segment. With interactive elements included, viewer ratings have on average increased between 20-30% for relevant TV shows.
