Yunnan TV

Yunnan TV is a regarded as a one of the leading provincial TV stations in China, reaching an audience of around 39 million people. Their programs are also broadcasted in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

"Invincible Star - 無敵幸運星" was launched in November 2005 as the first interactive TV talent show in Yunnan. Utilizing ITV formats and creatives provided by N-Visio, viewers are the judges of the contest, voting for contestants via SMS messaging. They are also able to chat real-time to discuss the merits of the contestants, or just connect with friends.

"Invincible Star" generated more than 4,300 votes per hour via SMS text messaging within the first week after launch, and the first winner of the show was born with 6,541 votes. This new Interactive TV program has successfully drawn large numbers of contestants and viewers of all ages. People over the age of 60 have gone for an audition to try their luck!
